Windows 11 is worth the update for most people. It comes with a wide range of new features, performance improvements, and design changes. As the latest Windows OS, it usually gets more attention than Windows 10, too. There's not too much risk in upgrading to Windows 11, either.Mar 28, 2024

64gb is 2x overkill. Yes, I would not go higher then 32 GB to be on the safe side with future releases, just very little point in 64 GB for gaming currently. So if that system is going to last you a while may as well go for 32 if able. 16gb is plenty.

Once they have reached their useful life span, they do fail and you may have to replace it or replace your computer. The good news is when you are aware of the reason's motherboards fail preventative and preparatory actions (see my article on backing up important files) can be taken to minimize the negative impact.
